Are Christians out of touch with the times?

I'm seeing an advertisement for a play that has an "inspirational message of joy" or in other words a religious play. This play is targeted towards pre teens and teens and it advertises itself as being able to appeal to youngsters of all ages.. The picture of the actors in the play all look like adults dressed as teenagers if it were still 1985. I can almost imagine them using the word "Rad" in describing god.
