Get a newspaper and have a look at it and set your paper out the same way. Use printed columns to make it look more like a newpaper and google some old looking pictures to add to your articles. Keep the text in a journalistic type way by making it factual. You could put an article about the rabid dog in it and one about the old ladies house that burnt down (sorry forgot her name). A letter to the editor about the behaviour of black children in the way a white person at the time wouldhave written it so it could be judgemental. An add on old fashioned ways to help prevent cooties as they were a problem.
