How can I get something shipped from Bulgaria to me?

I'd like to buy a product made in Bulgaria but the maker will not ship, I need to provide my own courier. I'm trying to find something like "parcel2go" but in Bulgaria, without much luck. I don't have an account with TNT or DHL, and in any case they look hideously expensive. Any advice from someone who unlike me actually knows something about Bulgaria?
