Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children... HELP?

I'm at Level 2 in all technologies, have fire, scarecrow, stew ,cutting tool & the dam (& no algae) and a gong piece. I have 11 erflies, 10 shells & 7 pebbles. I have been playing for a week and my villagers have not aged. Piper is 20 and has been pregnant for 4 days. And it still says "Nursing for 120 minutes" on the Details screen. I have the other 3 adult villagers researching to get more tech points, but they have taken turns with farming & building. I have also moved ahead with my pc clock, but to no avail. Piper is still pregnant!!! What do I do ????????
