I have downloaded music from limewire to WMP but I can't burn the music to a blank disc.?

I prepare my list and insert my blank disc. I click on start burn and it goes thru the songs saying pending on each one then when it gets thru that it comes back thru and says writing to disc and stops on the first song and it gets to 99% and it keeps running and nothing happens please help me!!!!!!!!!
