Are Evangelicals becoming Unpopular with Most Americans?

WIth the splintering of the Republican Party, and many taking a neutral view of gay marriage, do not want to test Roe vs. Wade, and happy with the general way of the world (i.e. not waiting for the end of), have Evangelicals run their course, and now America's Bad Boys and Girls (now that the cloak is coming off)?
